Technical File Storage Renewal
The current cost for storing a technical file with Baseefa file is £385.00 + VAT, with a renewal fee of £120.00 + VAT payable every 3 years if you are still manufacturing the equipment covered by the technical file. As a Notified Body we will keep the file for ten (10) years from the file deposit, or from the production of the latest product, in line with the renewal every 3 years. You would be sent a reminder every 3 years asking if you wished to extend the renewal period.
If you make a change to the technical file during the 10 year period we would keep the change document with the original documentation. Dependant on the quantity of paperwork added to the original file we may be obliged to make a cost for the extra storage space required, but we could advise on this on request. For documentation stored in CD format we would generally not make any additional charge.
