Training for Designers
We are always keen to share our knowledge with our customers and over many years we have had the experience in training our customers design staff in the detailed aspects of the various concepts of protection. We have found that generalised courses are not the best way for this type of activity, as everyone wants to get down to the application of the standards to their particular products..jpg "Explosion Test Chamber (3).jpg") We do have a standard package covering much of the detail of the intrinsic safety standards, and can present this, tailored to your particular products, either in Buxton or at your own location, where it might be appropriate to present it to all the relevant people in your design department. For the other concepts, we find that a detailed discussion as part of a technical advice session is usually the best way forward. No other body in the UK has the same involvement with the standards writing process as we do, so you have the best possible opportunity to learn how the standards still in development may come to affect your design process.
