Baseefa has extended its comprehensive range of services to include DSEAR / ATEX 137. Baseefa now provides professional expert advice and guidance to its customers to assist them in meeting the challenges of compliance.
DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) became UK law on 1st July 2003, with a transitional period allowing existing facilities 3 years to comply with the requirements of the legislation.
The Health and Safety Executive has been particularly active in this area over the past 2 years, issuing over 240 improvement / prohibition notices, so it is important that you take the necessary action now if you are not to become another statistic.
The transitional period ends July 2006, when by existing facilities must comply.
