DSEAR Clock is Ticking ! 
DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) became UK law on 1st July 2003 with a transitional period allowing existing facilities 3 years to comply with the requirements of the legislation.
The regulations impose duties on employers and the self-employed to protect people from risk to their safety from fires, explosions and similar events in the workplace.
The Health and Safety Executive has been particularly active in this area over the past 2 years, issuing over 240 improvement / prohibition notices, so dont become another statistic.
